Every year, I enjoy taking challenging classes in such places as:
Snow Farm
glass blowing, welding, and rustic garden furniture
Art New England
pottery and raku firing, artists' books, pinhole photography
DeCordova Museum
encaustic painting, multi-cultural art, knitting/crocheting with beads, pottery (surface design)
The Danforth Museum
beading techniques, fabric painting and dyeing, pottery (wheel throwing)
I have taken computer programming classes but am mostly self-taught (and spouse and/or Internet supported) when it comes to web development skills. I like to use straight code (HTML and CSS) as I create websites. I took an advanced Dreamweaver class and learned many new tricks to make web development much easier.
